I set up this page just to show some pictures of my Grandfathers Hamley Saddle.  I was told as a kid that unless you cowboy on a Hamley saddle, you don't cowboy.

This Hamley saddle was purchased by my Grandfather Robert Emmett Russell, on October 16, 1920.  It was custom made for him on an experimental tree that he wanted to use for breaking Mustangs and Arabs.  He paid $116.00 for it then.  To a young man of 19 that must of been a lot of savings in 1920.
